The 11th Bled Forum on Europe

The 11th Bled Forum on Europe, Conference and Foresight Training Seminar, is taking place in Bled, Slovenia on 11 and 12 March 2010.


This year the Bled Forum on Europe Conference is divided into the Plenary event and a special session, on Foresight for Western Balkans Futures project. The plenary event will host a number of sessions covering fields of eGovernment, eHealth, eDemocracy, Interoperability, eSecurity and others.

The Centre for eGovernance Development is one of the main organizers of the 11th Bled Forum on Europe.  The Forum is also supported by the Greek Interoperability Centre (GIC), Microsoft Corp., IPTS, Manchester Business School and the Regional Cooperation Council, among other organisations.

Among this years' key speakers are:
  • Jelica Minić, the Deputy Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council
  • Jerome Glenn, Director of the Millennuim Project
  • Yves Punie from the EC JRC-IPTS
  • Yannis Charalabidis from the University of the Aegean / Greek Interoperability Centre.
